The Burry Man is a folk tradition from Queensferry, Scotland. He is processed through the streets of the town covered in sticky burrs and wielding plumes of flowers. The Burry Man is given whisky to drink by the townsfolk and he is believed to attract bad luck and take it with him out of the town
