Zakk Haslam is an inquisitive illustrator and designer who grew up in Blackpool where he developed a great interest in the natural world. From an upbringing spent in fields looking through binoculars, he now works in the fields of illustration and design looking to create work across a broad range of applications.

Aside from an enthusiasm for nature, Zakk has an ecclectic mix of interests including folklore, vintage TV, music and fashion; together they inform and inspire his practice from an aesthetic stand point as well as fuelling his creativity. 

Design heritage is integral to his practice and through exploring the interrelationship between the past, present and future of design, he often develops authorial projects.
